Democracy

Democracy is a downloadable/printed Museum takeaway, publicly available through a Creative Commons license. Precipitated by Venezuela’s intertwined crises of authoritarianism, violence and corruption, one that has resulted in the largest ongoing migration in the Americas, Democracy emerged from recent and  intergenerational trauma of past dictatorships in Latin American history. This text work registers active, movable bits, uncertainties and contours of democracy against what we think as solid ground. The lingering question of how might we defend and invest in the regular construction of its continuity is left unanswered. Published in art newspapers:
